Bientôt les pommes



La saison des pommes approche.

Les jours déclinent. Les pommes arrivent à maturité. Rouges et charnues. Bientôt la cueillette va commencer.

Une cueillette patiente, sur l’arbre, jour après jour, pour favoriser la conservation des fruits.

Puis un stockage en cageots, la tête en bas, dans un endroit frais, aéré et sombre.

Là aussi en surveillant très régulièrement l’état des fruits et en retirant ceux qui s’abiment.

Plus tard dans la saison, les déguster en compote accompagnant un boudin noir de Mortagne-au-Perche ou en tarte normande.
