Bernadette Romascheff et les huit autres exposants qui l’accompagnent dans cette aventure ont gagné leur pari. Plusieurs centaines de personnes sont venues admirer les reliures anciennes et fouiller dans les bacs à la recherche du livre improbable.

La rencontre du « livre ancien et du vieux papier » a trouvé son public de bibliophiles et de collectionneurs.

Installé désormais tous les 3èmes samedis du mois dans la Halle aux grains de Mortagne-au-Perche, le salon ravira périodiquement les amateurs de beaux livres anciens, les chineurs de vieux papiers qui y trouveront leur bonheur dans une ambiance bonne enfant d’échanges et de conseils.

On y trouve de tout, mais aussi de beaux ouvrages anciens sur le Perche.

Il est possible de faire procéder à des expertises gratuites sur place.

Sans vous étonner, l’Abbé Fret était présent avec ses petits fascicules des « Scènes percheronnes ».
